Summary: Jubes got hurt bad. Some people aren't happy with others.

((Ok so here's what we're going to do. There's two threads - 21st-30th and 31st to the 7th. The first thread, Jubes is in a coma. So if you want to come bug Magneto or talk to a comatose Jubilee, use that. If you want to talk to her, she'll be coming out of it on the 30th - Mags will be ESPECIALLY protective that day, so short visits, but the second thread covers more visit time. K?))

[He wasn't particularly sure why he was here. Medical stuff he was terrible with, he didn't much like any sort of hospital or institution for the most part. They just... brought up bad memories. He wouldn't exactly be alone, and he could leave anytime he wanted to.

Its not how she is supposed to be. She should be up and about, doing things, worrying, forcing me to buy icecream]

I guess opening the door would probably be the first step, huh genius?

[He stared at the door for awhile longer anyway, just waiting for maybe it to all be some stupid prank Loki pulled or something, and he could go back to just getting vengeance and just giving him a righteous swirley.

He opened the door with a code, and just goes in and looks at the form just lying there, with old Magnet boy right nearby. What exactly was one supposed to say in such a case? Lets go with a standby]

24th

[At this point, he was fairly certain Jubilee would not die. But he did not know if she was going to recover.

He'd for a few hours earlier, had to, he'd been climbing the walls and shorting out his equipment - so while he wasn't under as much strain, it still showed in set of his jaw, the too-tight skin around his eyes.

When the door opened, he'd closed his book - The Hobbit - he'd been reading to her, and set it down.]

Wondering what it says, that even after everything, I'm not prepared for this.

Wondering how I managed to screw this one up.

[He walks over and looks at the comatose Jubilee. He wasn't exactly sure what all the things meant, but he imagined if she actually got worse there would be a lot more anger and explosions going on around here]

25th

[Doors? What are those? Loki just appears in the room, stepping out from a corner and lingering, gaze fixed on Jubilee's still form. It seems wrong. She's usually doing things. Animated. He crosses his arms and takes a step further into the room.

It's there, he wants to reach out and see if he can reach her, the thread of her life, repair it, weave it back, bring her back. But he doesn't dare. He doesn't remember exactly how and- it simply isn't fair.]

25th

[Jubilee has started to improve - he's sure she'll live, but he's not sure how long she'll take to recover.

He looks up as Loki enters.]

[It's testament to how engrossed he is in Jubilee that he does not notice Magneto until he speaks, flinching a little at having been so unawares.] Is it... okay to be here? [A touch guiltily.]

Late night 30th

[This isn't the first time she's heard him or someone else. It really isn't. But it's the first time she's managed to respond in any significant way.

She can feel her powers - burning, cascading, flaring - under her skin, and trying to escape, but something, not her, is holding them back. It makes her feel like her eyeballs are constipated.

Her eyes finally flutter open, and she can tell she isn't in a clinic. The Danger Room? Something is wrong, then. Very wrong. She remembers the fish.... and Deadpool.

Magneto's voice is soothing, as he reads and she recognizes the story and the part where he is in it.]

You don't hiss enough for Gollum...

[The words are weak, croaked, almost inaudible, but dammit she's determined to be awake.]

[His voice was light as he replaced the bookmark and started looking her over. But he didn't get up yet.]

[She tries to laugh, but all she manages is a trembling smile. She can see him sitting there, through slitted eyes. Her body is responding, if slowly. And sometimes not in the manner she wishes. A reach for his hand becomes a spasm of her fingers.

Jubilee knows it's bad.]

How bad?

[And don't lie to me, because I've been through just as bad before.]

[There was a huge mess of things going on with Claudio lately. More then just coming out and confessing to Trauma too, but just.... there was a lot going on and he felt helpless over every bit of it.]

[This was just another of those completely helpless moments, having found out something was going on with Jubes and then... well.... finding her here like this was upsetting. It didn't matter if anyone was in the room right now or not. It didn't matter if they knew he was there or not, because there he was, arms crossed over his chest, eyes narrowed and watching, keeping his breath so low that one might wonder if he was still breathing.]

[Invisible as air.]

[He stood there, feeling a little weak, very upset and not at all okay with any of this. He said nothing though. Not yet at least. Instead he just..... stood near, staring.]

[This was bullshit]

[He'd felt Claudio enter, but he waited until he sensed him in one place, and still, before heading into the Danger Room. People needed time.]

Claudio.

[Yeah, he had taken to a bit of searching first. Michael always knew he was around even when no one else could really tell. No matter how hard he tried to be silent about it all too. Damn man.]

[Still. Arms folded still, invisible still he frowned deeply, just staring at the girl. He hated those god damn void collars. hated the fact that she wasn't awake. Hated that she could have died again. That he could have lost another big sister. Family... he wasn't having a good time with it lately.]

Michael. [he said in a low voice, not coming into view yet. It took a moment, as he almost didn't say anything at all]

[Yes, he's throwing a small party. Quiet and all, but still a party.]

[Her voice is still scratchy, and she still has uncontrollable muscle movements at times. But at least she can sit up and eat a little - and that 'little' had better include cake and ice cream today dammit! She smiles a bit.]

I get all the snuggles. Think I could talk Mikey into it?

[Two sentences and she didn't stutter. Obviously she had a healing factor!]

Careful snuggles but yes. He's not big on physical contact. He might let you see the cubs though.

Happy day of birth! How old are you? Trust me when I say, you do not look a day over sixteen. I got you a present, do you wish to open it?

[He's not big on parties - especially birthdays but he'll come anyway. For Erik and Jubilee. Don't mind as Michael is a wallflower most of the night unless Lucifer manages to pull him away from holding the wall up. The angel didn't bring any gifts - it's not something he really does for a lot of people.

Though he will approach the birthday girl at some point, with a smile on his face no less.] Happy Birthday, Jubilee.

[She smiles up at him. Normally, she's a lot more talkative and bouncing around everywhere. Except, not so much with the bouncing now. Sigh.]

[Sigh. Stupid muscles. She shrugs a bit embarrassed and apologetically. She'd try to say his full name, but it gets stuck.]

[Blaine shows up, he's still a little skittish about leaving Kurt, but his boyfriend has things he needs to do too. At least being around these people manages to calm him down.

He brings some flowers for Jubilee, bright and colorful.]

[She saw him come in. She's trying to rest as much as having a party will let her, but she's so glad to see some people. Blaine is one of them.]

[He's almost as jittery as she is, and she's been dosed with something.]

[Quiet isn't really how he likes things to be done, and really he wasn't particularly good at it, so he decides for a different route.
Because being showy was how he did things. He proceeds to go around the room and do a few fake jabs as he goes around. After a suitable amount of time passes, he then draws out two things, one is a tub of ice cream, and a newspaper wrapped box]

You can say it, I'm awesome.

[She at least starts giggling. For a moment. Bruises and various other things don't like the sharp jerky movements.

She taps her lips and blows him a kiss.]
