Who: Jake and the Auto Responder
When: Waaaay back when they actually switched back to their own bodies. So pretty darned backdated.
Where: Alpha house
Summary: They... switch back! And Jake probably gloats.
Warnings: They both curse, also probably inappropriate references because 16 year old boys...
Jake probably should have expected something when he actually woke up for once. It had been a week since he'd been able to fall asleep at all, considering it seemed AI programs didn't need to actually sleep. Kind of funny considering computers had sleep modes. Still, as Jake slowly woke up, he stared blankly at a wall for several minutes, before raising a hand to rub his eyes.
That was around the time he really woke up, trying to sit and stand up at the same time, while also pushing himself forward. All this really did was cause him to tumble out of his bed onto the floor with a painful thud, and goddamn did that hurt. It really, honest to god hurt, and that fact alone had Jake cracking up, rolling around on the floor like some sort of madman.
Out of all the things to miss banging your head into the ground probably shouldn't be among them, but he did. He'd been stuck without nerve endings for long enough, and he'd take the pain gladly!
Eventually he stopped wallowing on his floor like a dog who found a particularly nice pile of something gross and rotting to roll in, and sat up again, reaching for the nightstand where he'd left the AR (where the AR has technically left him) the night before, and slid the sunglasses onto his face.
He cleared his throat and wiggled a little on his seat on the floor.
"So... Looks like everything's back the way it should be!"
This was going to be an awkward conversation after everything that had happened.

I'm sure you would. Be the hero, punish the bad guy, get the girl.
He does a network crawl, picking out any relevant pieces of information and filing them away for later. They weren't the only two to have woken up in someone else's body, judging by all the distressed network transmissions. It doesn't look like anyone is owning up to being responsible. Nobody else has any clues, either. He hits a wall distressingly soon.

Which reminded him... there was probably a series of apologies that Jake owed the AR for basically being this massive tool to him and suggesting he didn't have emotions. ... Apologies and conversations he really didn't want to have right after getting his body back.
Jake stood up, twisting his torso around, getting everything nice and stretched out now that the option was there as the AR chatters on about movie clichés. Good movie clichés, mind you, but not ones that were particularly relevant at the moment since there were no girls to be gotten in this scenario.
"Or at least give them a nice knuckle sandwich for their troubles."

Feeding the deranged is always a good direction to go. How are you going to find the obstinate jackhole in question? Shall I prepare the search montage? Set it to a jazzy and upbeat track suggesting that the entire endeavor was uninteresting a journey as anything and the goal was the only reward gained? Could make a whole day of going around doing inane shit for no reason.

While having a movie like montage song play for him as he went on this search, he was pretty sure the AR was just making fun of him anyways. He makes a scoffing noise.
"They had to leave a clue around for me to sleuth! That's one of the most basic rules of villainy. Besides, we have one of the best detectives around in our gang. I'm sure she'll deduce the fuck out of the perpetrator's identity in no time flat."

You seem pretty confident in the abilities of our dear, sweet gumshoe. Think she's gutsy enough for the task?

Jake had felt pretty real.
Having a drastic, opinion changing experience didn't mean he didn't want some payback for someone messing with him like that, however.
"I know of no one better! Jane will be more than up for a task of this gravity."
