Who: Phibrizzo and OPEN
When: September 4th, between 10am and 4pm (just specify when your character is stopping in)
Where: The Seyrunn Shop of Sorcery
What: Business at a magic shop
Warnings: Probably no more than PG

The Seyrunn Shop of Sorcery had two selling points that distinguished them from other magic shops in the city: the magic amulets with spells pre-loaded into them, and Brass Rackets - a sport from the co-owners' world that used enchanted rackets. Neither item required magic ability. Other wares in the shop, such as their selection of magical herbs, ritual items, and other supplies, were for people who were actually magic users. However, the amulets could be used by anyone as a self-defense item against the Darkness monsters, and the rackets depended on the user's strength of will and force of personality.

At the moment, Phibrizzo was placing some of the magic amulets in a sturdy clear glass cabinet that locked. Spotting someone approaching him from the side, he turned to greet them.

"Hello. What can I do for you, today?"

A shake of the head. "No, thank you. The majority of my own sorcery does not need a material component, however I do enjoy learning of the trappings of other methods of arcane practice. Magic is one common theme among worlds, and learning and expanding our own horizons connects us to others in what one could term a large, sorcerous family of sorts. I'm curious to examine what you have, and what you specialize in."

He examined one of the amulets carefully. "What manner of amulet is this? One assumes warding, but there are a great many things to ward from in a place such as Siren's Port."

"Either is quite informative." Really, he was more interested to speak with another practitioner, but browsing around and hearing more about the shop was fine. Some people simply weren't comfortable speaking of their own magic... others considered their abilities trade secrets. It would be rude to pry too forcefully, after all.

"That is a family of magic that is quite uncommon in my schooling." It's something new, and his curiosity is piquing. He's seen mention of death-magics and the like in the ruins of fallen worlds, and of course there were people with bountiful darkness in their hearts who could raise the dead for their own bidding. He still wishes to know and to understand such practices, as each world has its own unique forms.

"Do you make these magical artifacts yourself?"
