When: 12/12/12, beginning at 12:12am and ending around 10pm at night.
Where: Siren's Port, across all sectors
Summary: Everything detailed here is going down, citywide. Panic and chaos ensues as shortly after midnight, everyone in Port loses their special abilities. Is The Core playing a cruel doomsday trick? Or is it something even more sinister?
Warnings: Violence & Civil Unrest. Angry swearing inevitable!

[She shakes her head in response. Too nervous to be hungry.]

[retraced]

[FROWN.]

Are you sure?

[motioned]

[She nods, and then just kind of slumps over onto him. This is distressing, okay.]

[retraced]

[Tiny duckling, no! Her distress only worries him, and so he reaches down and awkwardly pets her head...because he would do this if she were human. Please don't be offended...!]

It - it'll be all right! Hopefully this is like everything else and won't last long. My contract is also...

[motioned]

[She looks towards him with concern, then, unsure what effect that would really have on him. Could it be possible that he'll be hurt?]

[retraced]

Hm?

[And of course he doesn't understand that expression at all...]

[motioned]

[And again comes the ' what do you expect me to say?' look!]

[retraced]

We're really going to have to come up with a better way to communicate until you turn back...

[motioned]

[Another stare. Like what, exactly?]

[retraced]

You probably can't hold a pen, can you?

[motioned]

[She shakes her head, holding her wings out to him. No thumbs!]

[retraced]

Not in your mouth either?

[motioned]

[She pauses before shaking her head again. She could probably put it in her mouth, but writing with it like that? Not likely.]

[retraced]

[He's about to offer another suggestion, but he's cut off by an exhausted sounding yawn. He's at least polite enough to cover his mouth, though. This whole situation is just draining, okay.]

Sorry. [Shaking his head.] Maybe if I found some ink you could try to paint out words with your wings...

[motioned]

[She tilts her head. That could probably work...]

[retraced]

That would just make a mess, though.

[Blink.]

And somehow I doubt you want to take a bath like this...

[motioned]

[She tilts her head again. It might not be that bad!]

[retraced]

[Oh no, she's cute. ;~;]

T-then maybe we'll try it.

[He puts his hands out, offering to pick her up.]

[motioned]

[She waddles over, taking a seat in his hands.]

[retraced]

[He picks her up and brings his hands up close to his chest so that she rest against him, cupping his hands around her so that she can't accidentally fall.]

Ciel has to have some ink in his study.

[motioned]

[She nods, leaning forward to rest on his chest.]

[retraced]

[After opening the door he starts down the hall, eyes on his feet as he ponders this entire situation. The last time that something like this happened, where a person's body changed entirely, it had lasted anywhere from a few days to just over a week. Without Raven he feels tired, empty. Just as he did before when Vincent had stolen his contract for 'big brother's sake'. It had taken weeks to get used to it before, but hopefully this time he wouldn't have time to get used to it.

Well, off to the study they go. He's still in his bedraggled shirt and pants, but he doesn't plan on running into anyone in the next few minutes either.]

Is it always so cold in the house...?

[He doesn't look like he expects an answer; he's just musing to himself.]

[motioned]

[She looks up at his face, curious. Does it seem colder than usual? She hadn't noticed.]

[retraced]

[He glances down to her and frowns.]

You don't feel any colder?

[motioned]

[She shakes her head. Feels the same to her, at least!]
