Not electricity...and not people's powers, either.
Everyone's normal.

[It's decidedly unpleasant, as far as the Master is concerned. Brows knit in consternation as he shakes his head.]
How are you fairing?
I take it nothing like this has happened before in the time you've been here?

[Well, he'd ducked his head under the spray of water. But a pitcher of clean water in the refrigerator had sorted out that grossness.
He shakes his head in response to Eraqus' question.]
Not here, not ever. Not for the whole city. The Voids can block people's powers, but just in short-range.
This is the first time I've ever been...normal before.

[Lack of clean water for drinking, however.. That could be potentially more dangerous, and he frowns in concern.]
'Void', is it. That term feels as accurate as it sounds. [There are those that exist for that specific purpose? The frown deepens, and his own head shakes. The fingers of his left hand clench reflexively.]
I do not know that this is normal for many, save perhaps those native to this land. In its own way, I suppose it is a reminder.

[Or something like that. Roxas hasn't devoted a ton of time to studying the history of Siren's Port, but you'd have to be really ignorant to stay here almost three years and not know anything.]
It's weird. I keep expecting the Keyblade to come when I call and it just...doesn't.

[ Today, no doubt, will be added to historical record. And possibly hysterical record, given the outcry, rage and confusion bubbling beneath the city's surface. You didn't have to be an empath to pick up on the growing panic rising. ]
Nor magic. Not even a Silencega spell is this encompassing.
[His head shakes. Eraqus certainly isn't panicking. Outwardly. But it is clear, from the way he raises his right hand, staring past it a moment, that he knows exactly what Roxas means.]
Were your roommates all right?

[Assuming this was another weird thing that was happening, and not the weird things just stopping for good.
But he doubted that. Things were never so simple as that.]
They're fine. Worried, but okay. I just couldn't stay inside.

[Those words are spoken as grey eyes narrow, gazing over Roxas' head at the gatherings skirting at the edge of what should have been busy streets, even at this house.]
That is good news, at least. I can understand the need to keep moving, however.
Be on your guard, whatever the case. I fear that though we lack power, the Heartless will not be so afflicted.

[There's skepticism in his tone, though; Heartless aren't the same as humans, and there have been no studies on what happens to them if they get near a power-drainer.
Probably nothing. They wouldn't be that lucky.]
They probably will. Voids have never been able to stop the darkness before.
