open log!
Who: the Siren's Port Lonely Hearts Club! (and YOU!!!??)
When: Valentine's Day, from siren to siren.
Where: the Underground Mall
Summary: all the singleladies people, all the single people~
Warnings: Uhhh nothing I guess? Probably language?
[The lonely hearts that Mary called out in her post eventually wind up in some restaurant in the Mall, somewhere with a bar, but in all honestly it's a long night and they'll wander.
Tag in, tag around, enjoy!
For her own part, Mary will get a very panicked text message fromTom Hanniger someone early in the night, and take off into the Darkness with an air of distinct "oh SHIT" without any explanation at all. But she'll be around for a little while at the beginning.]

You're the one who arranged this, right?

So have an alien girl peeking around the corner of the bar. Nope, she looks way too young to be there. ]

secondthird look from Mary. She's not the strangest thing Mary's ever seen in this place. She looks really young, though, and kind of curious and out of place, so Mary smiles at her from across the bar. Someone like that? Yeah, definitely not a resident. The residents here are mostly human-looking.]

[Besides, it had been some time since she had been out on some group outing in Siren's Port. It's time for that to change.
[The smile she offers Mary is an honest one, though she keeps her usual maternal quality out of it. She's not here in that capacity tonight.] And so here we are.
[[OOC: She would absolutely follow Mary out when she leaves with that "oh SHIT" air, if that's okay?]]

Nice to meet you.
[In person, that is.]
It's- oh man, I'm so sorry, I don't remember your name.
[[OOC: actually, it's not. It's part of the Mary-gets-fucked-up-by-Tom-Hanniger plot, and she needs to not be followed. If anyone tries, she'll pretty much bite their heads off out of pure stress and in the moment internal panic.]]

[Larry walks up to her, raising a hand in a little wave. He's got a drink too - although it's a virgin cocktail. The Butz may be grieving but he's not much of a drinker.]

When she spots Mary, they've spoken a couple of times so she quickly recognises her, Kitty heads over, giving a smile as she pulls out one of the stools ]
Hey.

[Mary puts her drink down and turns the stool around to greet her.]
Nice to finally meet you.

Re: right after sirens
[ Elaine asked after she approached Mary. She was pointing at the stool beside hers, hoping it wasn't taken. ]

Around the mall
After mary leaves, she just wanders around, maybe goimg to see a romcom in the theater or something. ]

Someone should tell him that putting elbows on the table is RUDE. Or maybe not...he looks too lonely to care. He'll either snap at you...or just wail and cry over his poor beloved Leah.]

He hasn't come here to mingle so much as he's come to have somewhere to be, to keep sort-of-company to Mary and to look out on the off-chance that some new big disaster decides today is the day to rear its ugly head. Could happen.
He stays near the bar for the most part, but with enough time he gets it into his head to wander a bit. Ever in the business for antiques that would just end some uneducated moron's life early. It's an exciting life. ]

So how did you get roped into this club? [Asks drily.]

So he takes a little refuge in a store of diamonds. He is always fond with jewelry stores - it reminds him of the grotto back home, with a nest made out of wire and precious stones and gems. ]

Or someone to get her some flowers. That would be nice, too. For now, she'll have another martini.]

OPEN!
And, well, he's more like trying to get himself smashed since it's kind of hard to do when you're a vampire. So he's going through quite a few scotches at the bar, and they're not doing... much at all. Feel free to bother him. ]

I can't help but notice you've had a few drinks tonight. Trying to forget something?
