These words I've shared
Who: Open Log for all those who let themselves get taken in.
When: September 1st, 1918 and September 2nd, 1918.
Where: Undisclosed barracks at the Missionworth Military Base
Summary: The Military wants answers, and they're hoping you can help give them. Also, there are at least temporary beds. Try and sleep off that hangover.
Warnings: Interrogations will only go as badly as expected.
Though the newcomers haven't been treated as an overall threat, they have been taken to their new location as quickly as possible, and under fairly heavy guard.
Those guarding the newcomers vary between overly interested, and incredibly wary. Some seem to barely be able to hold back asking questions, and some clearly expecting a fight at any moment.
Needless to say, the tension is a bit high.
The newcomers who came quietly (Or at all) are held for the meantime in an empty barracks, bunk beds lining the walls and a bathroom off one end of the hall.
Periodically, a guard will come by and request for someone to follow them to be questioned.
It's likely a good idea to follow.

And just because he was cooperative didn't mean he couldn't learn more about what was happening. Being locked up didn't mean no information would get to them, and locks didn't mean they were trapped. Not with the Keyblade.
Inside the barracks, he spotted Tim and only hesitated for a moment before approaching him. He might not know him well, but Tim was a friend, and more importantly, he was someone who generally knew what he was doing.]
Hey.

Hey, Roxas. [He puts on a fake sad look that ends up being more humorous.] So, they got you too, huh.

Something like that. [He glances around.] Once I found out where we were...or when we were...I thought it'd be better to go along. Just for now.
no subject
Yeah. I think you have the right idea with that. This could all be over soon, it's better to just... work along with them. [A long pause.]
Not everyone's opinion, though. Some people on the outside don't want that.

I keep thinking of when to get out of here. We can't stay here forever, I know. But...I don't know where to go when we do.

I think soon is the best guess. There's a town just outside here... really, it's the same island we've always been on, just with less buildings and more fields. [He pulls out a scrap of paper, gesturing for Roxas to come over. There's a crude map on it, splitting the island into the usual sectors, but with notes on each.]
The baseball diamond is just a field now. You have to go all the way to sector four for the first town. The church is still here, and so is the lighthouse, so that gives us some reference points.

[He moves closer and checks out the map, leaning over it as if to hide it. Not that they wouldn't be able to tell if someone were coming.]
Where should we go? I mean...we still can't leave, can we? The pull is still there. Or...it will be.
no subject
[He's thankful for that, though, and helps hide the map a little bit more with his body closer to Roxas, pointing things out.]
The military has holdings near the beach, and where the docks have always been. They can leave, but I don't know if we can. And if we did, there's no way to actually get home from here. We need to stay here and find a way home.

[Not that he knows much about the year. He's done some reading about history, but not in a while, and there are no books handy now.]
Any idea how to do that? I've got it covered when we want to go... [For a moment, he summons Oathkeeper, glancing down before dismissing it again.] But it won't help us after.

...How many times have you been in here, right now? Or are you just waiting for the right moment? [As vague as possible, if anyone else was listening. He doubted it; they didn't have that kind of listening devices in this time period.]
We might need to walk for awhile, unless I can get in touch with some friends.
