Summary: Wedding!
Notes: There will be two comment threads, one for the ceremony that will be set on the beach and a reception one set in the Lux. Kurt and Blaine were getting married today. Despite the drizzly weather of the week, they had set up an open tent at the beach. The off and on again rain of that week meant that the waves of the sea were higher, more intense than normal. That set an interesting backdrop to their ceremony.

Luckily, the weather today was better than it had been all week and though it was still a little bit on the gloomy side you'd never know it from the two grooms and the pure joy on their faces.

My jacket--

[He looks alarmed for a second, even though it's lying on a chair nearby. He doesn't seem to see it.]

Where's my jacket?

[motioned]

[She walks forward a few steps to where it's sitting, picking it up gingerly as not to wrinkle it.]

You mean this one?

[And another pause.]

You know everything's going to be fine, right?

[showbizpanache]

Yes. I know.

[Another deep breath, and he holds out his arms so she can slide the jacket onto his shouldrs.]

It's going to be--not perfect. It won't be perfect. But it'll be wonderful. Right? It doesn't have to be perfect.

[motioned]

[She smiles as she obliges, putting the jacket on as she responds.]

No, it won't be perfect, but that's only because nothing is perfect. If it was perfect, it wouldn't be real. But it will be real, and beautiful, and romantic, and you'll sing amazingly. Both of you will be great.

[showbizpanache]

[It actually takes some of the edge off, looking at it like that. She slips the jacket on his shoulders as he quickly turns around, examining himself from all angles in the mirror.]

So, um-- How do I look?

[motioned]

You look great! You're gonna knock 'em dead, especially him.

[showbizpanache]

Oh Ahiru. Come here.

[He holds out his arms and bends over to give her a hug.]

Did you grow? I feel like I don't have to bend quite as far to hug you anymore.

[motioned]

Not that much, at least not that I noticed! Maybe I'm lucky and I'm hitting a growth spurt, though!

[showbizpanache]

[He pulls back and takes her hands.]

I'll be right here for your wedding too, you know. Whenever that may be.

[motioned]

[That's never going to happen, she's sure of it; but she's not about to say something like that, not now, not on a day that's all about him and Blaine. So she just gives his hands a squeeze and nods with a warm smile.]

Let's get through yours before we start talking about that at all! [Punctuated with a giggle.]
