LASER TAG FUN TIMES!

Where: Sector Four
Summary: Death and Roxas start a sector-wide laser tag game, and want everyone to join in!
Warnings: Language and FUN. So much fun.

Death had decided to have some fun, after all the dramatic things happening in the city right now, and with people she considered friends and family. Right now was not a good time for all that, and frankly, staying out of everything sounded like a pretty good idea. So, together with her good friend Roxas, she initiated a laser tag game in sector four.

Using the laser tag equipment she had gotten Roxas for Christmas, they suited up and started running. Lights were flashing, guns were blazing in a fake sort of way, and seeing as today was a genuinely nice day, it was fun.

Once she had posted onto the network in the morning, Death made sure all the equipment was ready for everyone else to come down to sector four and have some fun with it. The teams were split up into red and blue teams (no cool names just yet, unfortunately, but that would soon be fixed), and everyone who wanted to play could. The rules were no actual fighting, and no leaving sector four.

And have fun. To always have fun.

OOC: The rules are simple! Comment to the post with your character, and Death will give them a laser tag gun and vest, and put them on the red team or the blue team. Once you have your color team, tag around! Go after the opposing team, talk with your teammates, do whatever you want!

The rules are no actual violence, or Death will send you away, and no leaving Sector 4 with any of the equipment. Death will find you. Play for as long as you want! Your character can spend all day playing if they want!

[It seems surprises are happening more often. Events left ambiguous for Destiny to discover bit by bit...He examines her laser tag equipment, a scowl crosses his features. He felt like many of the individuals he reads about- stubborn old men clinging to hard-to-kill habits and old ways.

The game was different from what the younger Endless play, but it was a still a game. It would be an understatement to say Destiny does not play.]

It was not my first thought.

[She grins.] Well, is it your second thought? Because I think you would be great on Roxas' team! Blue is definitely your color.

[Despite being on different teams, it seems a cease-fire is in order for the moment, so Roxas wanders over, laser gun at the ready in case Didi decides to be tricky.]

Yeah, my team could use some people. We're gonna win, after all.

I remind you that I am inexperienced in the practice of play. It had not been a past hobby of mine to partake in.

Don't worry about it! Most of the people playing have never played before, but it's really easy. [She smiles, reaching out and taking him by the hand so she could lead him over to the bin.]

All you have to do is point and shoot with the toy gun, and hit the vest that the person is wearing.

[He resigns, allowing her to tug him along. There were traditions to be maintained, but seemed today was not that time nor place. This was a change of pace, an event he knew would happen when Elaine figuratively came knocking on his door.

It did not stop him from nearly glowering broodily at the supplies, staring at them as if he had never heard nor read about them before.]

[She picked up a vest, and began hooking it around his chest and back, adjusting the straps so that his cloth was not shifted too much.]

You'll love it, I promise!

"Love" is a subjective term in this instance.

To be more accurate to the situation, "moderately enjoy" are the words I would choose were I you.

Don't you love me? [She can't help but ask with a smile.]

You'll have fun. Even enjoying it is having fun.

[She already knows that answer so he allows it to linger. Oh, how awkward he must look standing there, all strapped up with the laser gun in one hand and the book clasped to himself by the other. Like a fish out of water.]

Then "fun" I shall have...

[beep beep beep that is so totally not your vest going off. Nu-uh. Nope]

...did you just shoot me? [She laughs, backing up.] That's one point for your team, and you better run, because I am going to get you!
