Dubious Purchase
Who: Eric Slingby and Alan Humphries
When: Monday, April 16th
Where: Eric's starter apartment, that Alan is sharing
Summary: Eric has purchased Grell's shoes from William. Whether he's adventureous or just plain bored is hard to tell.
Warnings: Sexy shoes, sexual tension, and well... anything else. Will update is necessary. WOOPS HAS TURNED INTO SEXYTIMES! Warning!
Eric examines the bright red boots with the absurd heels. Clearly, they're made for the sexual gratification of the person wearing them, or the person looking at the person wearing them. They're not for walking.
He thinks for a moment what acts the shoes may have been a part of with it's previous owner and his... roommate. He pushes the thought from his mind.
Curiosity nags at the back of his mind. With a smirk, he takes off his pants and black loafers, and sets them aside. He slides his leg into the shoe. The shoe is a bit long to fit his foot, and it's tight over his calf, but he can wear them reasonably. He slips on the other one, looking down and studying the effect.
He chuckles to himself, and tries to stand.

Yes... doesn't mean anything...
no subject
It doesn't- [A pause as he adjusts his glasses.] It doesn't have to be meaningless.
[Do he even know what he's saying? What he might be implying?]

All you have to do is say something, anything.
[But how he dreaded what Eric might say. If he would laugh him off and treat this as some joke. How pathetic was he when his very world hinged on what might come from someone else's lips?]

[His chest feels tight and fluttering. He knows he's on the verge of something very, very important. But, it scares him.]

[He inhales softly eyes open to peer at him curiously. He's smiling now thought even if his heart's racing a mile minute and feels like it will break out of his chest.]
But in all seriousness just tell me if it's real or not, that's all I need to know.
no subject
If what's real? The shoes are quite real.
[Run away from the feelings.]

I know they are. Heels don't suit you. You haven't got the legs for them.
[Ah, well back to this again, at least Eric kissed him first.]
no subject
Hey now, I don't? Maybe you could try them.
no subject
Nope. Your build is all wrong for heels. [He arches a brow.] Do you really want to see me in heels?
no subject
[It's a nice thought, actually, Alan in heels. Ordinarily he's flirt and be suggestive. But, right now, it seems out of place.]
no subject
[But it's an amusing thought. He leans towards Eric for a moment.] Besides red is certainly not my color. Something a bit more understated and common would be best.
[He nudges at the heels with his foot.] I do hope you'll give them back to Grell soon enough.

It is hard. I'm certain it is doubly so for William after denying it and himself for so long.
no subject
Of course he won't talk, that's why I've taken the boots hostage.
no subject
Give them back.
[Only now he's not playing he wants those things out of the apartment as soon as possible. There's a faint hint of harshness to his words, a side effect of the jealousy that's taken hold even as he slides from the couch.]

[It's this dance we seem to keep doing, an endless flow of steps, dips and turns.]
Maybe a nap will help.
no subject
Are you ill?
no subject
It's not the Thorns if that's what you're worried about. I'm fine.
