He'd made appointments with various people. He was going to keep them. But even still, he was looking entirely well. He'd lost a little weight, was tense, and mostly very still. Except his eyes. They never stopped moving.

Kevin pushed himself off the wall and tucked his hands into his pockets. "Don't worry 'bout it." Kevin meant it. "I know how t'handle m'self." Not that he was turning down help, just... he didn't want to depend on anyone.

Not right now, anyway.

"I'll let ya know if'n they call me down again."

"She is." Her shifting was making his eyes dart back to her, not really spooking him but drawing his attention repeatedly as he scanned the room.

"You're going to chap your lip."

I didn't get a hell a lot out of her in the first place... [Thoughtfully:] You've seen a doctor about it?

"I'm sure you can. But we are Mutants. That used to mean something." Kitty's reaction had hit him far harder than he had let on.

"Please do." Meeting at an end, as far as he was concerned. He was more than willing to get back to safety somewhere else.

"It did." Kevin agreed. "Til we started turnin' our own into the feds."

He turned away and headed out. He didn't need angel-napped to be taken home. He'd walk, thanks.

Why should she tell people my medical information? She did say she had medical and legal proxy.

[That was as much as anyone needed to know, as far as he was concerned. More than most deserved to know.]

I am, yes. And those whose care I have been in have healing abilities.

"You look terrible," Loki replied cheerfully. "Aren't the angels feeding you? Allowing you to sleep? Ah- giving you exercise?" He did doubt there was a 'care and feeding of your human' manual at the bookstore, but this was ridiculous.

Thora trotted towards him unabashedly and sniffed at shoes and trousers, taking in all of the different scents with deep, huffing breaths, because the smells were simply fascinating.

Magneto let him go - something he'd regret later, because he was simply standing there with a stunned look on his face.

"They do, often, they help me sleep, and not much no." There was in fact a 'Care and Feeding of *blank*' for all those from his world, actually. Jubilee had gone over it with Lucifer. But some of it was simply Magneto not coping well.

He stayed still while the dog sniffed at him.

[She frowned.]

That's something.

[Relaxing isn't going to happen any time soon.]

I mostly just want to be alone. But. I'm supposed to talk to people.

[Doctor's orders, basically.]

[Ro sighed through her nose. She was silent for a moment, just looking at him. She had a better idea of what to think, but visions of Tom were still dancing way too close to her head.]

You're talking some.

One or two a day.

[And not really for more than an hour or so.]

Loki would find that terribly amusing. Or possibly not. "And yet you look underfed, not well rested and .... well, I'll not harp. Only perhaps try not to die before you can get better, yes?" He pursed his mouth, considering.

He, like everyone else, had questions, of course. But Loki understood the precariousness of the situation, "Ah- about what happened. Crowley and all. If you wish to elaborate about the situation- well, it matters not if you do not wish to elaborate. Or- or if you were even in the wrong at the time."

And squinted, "Perhaps that did not come out right. We are of the same universe and he is not, that is what counts." In Loki's opinion, at least. That and Magneto had been kind when he did not have to be, in Loki's book that was major bonus points.

[She frowned again.]

I got my answer. Do you WANT me to go?

Blaine smiled at that a bit. It was the end of it, for him anyway. As long as Magneto was alive, that was enough.

"Okay," he said. "I'd want you to listen to them too."

"I'm never well rested. It will take more than this to kill me, fret not." He was just a very little bit amused. Really, he had been in far worse straits before.

Oh Loki. He needed that. And it's enough to make him move carefully around the puppy and give him a hug against his chest, some mix of parental, fraternal, and old combat brothers.

"Thank you Loki. I'd rather not talk about it, at least for a while."

I don't know. I don't want to talk about this anymore.

[It's stressful in ways it shouldn't and should be. But it's not something he can handle right now.]

"Thank you."

He sank into the chair a but, just a little relieved.

"Have I missed anything with you?"

Blaine shook his head. "Kurt lost his memories," he said after a moment. "He thinks we're still together because of that." It was probably easier to tell the older man these things, to give him something to focus on that wasn't him or what had been accused of him. "It's been a little stressful, but I don't think the Core completely re-set him. I think someone did something to him."

We don't have to.

"Never? That seems ill conducive to mental health, I should think," Loki shrugged. "But, I only know what I hear on the Doctor Phil show." The Doctor Phil often had good points where these sorts of things were concerned, Leah discounted him and thought him a fraud, but Leah also disliked the internet, so that showed her judgement was often poor.

He was surprised at the hug and stood still for a moment, before returning it affectionately, but carefully so as not to inadvertently harm or spook Magneto. "Ever welcome and as you like," it wouldn't matter of the 'at least for a while' was never at all. "Are you always this warm? Mutant thing, perhaps? Or something with your powers?" Curiosity and also a bit of concern yet again.

"Has that happened to anyone else?"

He wasn't sure but he hadn't been paying attention.

"Having your memories tampered with is horrible."

[He drained his mug - it was still hot, despite the time it had been there sitting in his hands.]

I know Chuck's not here.

[That hurt.]

Did anyone else leave?

Not everybody, but a lot still did.
