Peaking back into the world
Who: Magneto and to be updated
When: Week of 4-10 through 4-15
Where: Mostly the HoA, a few others
Summary: Mags is talking to people again. A few people want to see him in person
Warnings: Will be updated
Other: Tag in with when you are meeting/where ok?
He'd made appointments with various people. He was going to keep them. But even still, he was looking entirely well. He'd lost a little weight, was tense, and mostly very still. Except his eyes. They never stopped moving.

Then you look terrible. [There was obvious concern in her eyes. She certainly wasn't going to stop trying to find out what was really going on, but now that she could see his condition she was going to soften up. Gentle but firm, unlike her anger before.]
Ah--thanks. [She sighs and shook her head, with a small 'psh'.] I'm suprised I still do when my boyfriend still thinks his place is a bachelor pad.

I looked worse a few weeks ago.
[Except for when he's sipping his coffee, he's completely still.]
My meter for what that means is off, I'm afraid. I've mostly lived my life in boarding schools, military bases, or government quarters.

[There was an amused psh at that, and she rolled her eyes. Damn. This was surreal. Almost like things were normal and nothing ever happened.
Didn't mean she wasn't going to forget though.]
Is this gonna be private enough? [She would add the 'for you' part but she decided against it.]

[Even when he was living in Israel - Charles had lived with him.
At her question he looked around, tensing a bit.]
Location was your choice.
[That would be a 'no'.]
no subject
[That would be a 'stop turning this around on me'. Her arms stayed folded on the table, and she watched him very pointedly, very intently. It was the look of somebody who wasn't going to let this go, but at the same time the look of somebody who was worried about a friend.]
Look. You don't have to try and prove anything to me. I just want to hear from YOU what happened, if ANYTHING happened. Because all I got otherwise is either everybody's hearsay or everybody else's cryptic answers and shoving me out of the picture.
no subject
[So yes, yes this is on you.]
I don't really remember much of the last month or so Rochelle. It's like time is all blurred and I can't really focus in on it.
[That's not a lie and his very real distress over how much time he had lost was real. That it was a side answer and not a direct one...]
no subject
[double what.]
So you wouldn't remember anything you--were accused of?
no subject
[His tone is flat - he didn't totally feel safe in the HoA even. He's not arguing. He doesn't have it in him to.]
I have a difficult time remembering three days ago.
[Again, it wasn't a direct answer. He was implying that no, he didn't. And he wasn't lying about having difficulty keeping days straight.]
The last clear memory I have? Was sitting in my office, looking at an empty wine bottle and deciding to not drink any more. That was in early February.
[And that was also true. Alcohol withdrawal and the insomnia that came with, then the hyped up, almost manic feeling he'd had from the Sunday before he killed Crowley until after wasn't clear, not how he meant it.]
no subject
Michael, I wasn't refusing you. I was trying to say we could GO to the first one.
[But even if he was implying, Rochelle could put two and two together.]
... then there really IS something wrong.
no subject
[Lucifer would come get him at some point, or something. House said it would protect him, if it came to it.]
That's what Jubilee has been trying to tell people. You can't get legal proxy transfered because someone has a cold.
[He was just a little cranky. Because seriously people. That wasn't something minor.]
no subject
no subject
[That was as much as anyone needed to know, as far as he was concerned. More than most deserved to know.]
I am, yes. And those whose care I have been in have healing abilities.
no subject
[She frowned.]
That's something.
no subject
I mostly just want to be alone. But. I'm supposed to talk to people.
[Doctor's orders, basically.]
no subject
You're talking some.
no subject
[And not really for more than an hour or so.]
no subject
I got my answer. Do you WANT me to go?
no subject
[It's stressful in ways it shouldn't and should be. But it's not something he can handle right now.]
no subject

[He drained his mug - it was still hot, despite the time it had been there sitting in his hands.]
I know Chuck's not here.
[That hurt.]
Did anyone else leave?
no subject
Not everybody, but a lot still did.
no subject
[He motions to his NV.]
I wanted...
[Chuck was his friend, he wanted him.]
no subject
[Well, god dammit. She didn't need him to tell her.]
He's really...?
no subject
I tried to text him and it didn't work.
[He was upset over that.]
no subject
Oh god dammit.
[Then she decided to stare at the floor. Like dealing with this wasn't already wearing enough.]
I should--probably go.
