Summary: William's got his memory back, and after finding out how he regained it, he has a few things to say to Grell.

[ It would be a severe understatement to say that William merely disapproved of the method Grell had used to revive his memory. A contract, honestly? He probably should have seen this coming. Grell was never one to think things through. Even now, with the deed done, he was trying to convince William that the trade off wasn't that bad at all...

William grumbles something to himself while he stirs up the contents of the frying pan in front of him. Despite all this contract stuff, he'd told Grell they could redo the whole dinner that was completely spoiled due to William coming home and kicking Grell out. He looks to the side where Grell is attempting to complete his half of the cooking. ]

Grell, do not fill the pot up that much. It will just boil over.

[ How this guy managed to feed himself without William there was a mystery. ]

[ Completely expecting that next, William easily catches Grell. He hugs him close, returning the kiss with fervor. ]

[ As much as Grell wants to keep kissing William for all eternity, a competing desire is emerging. He draws away, out of the kiss - to hold up and admire his new shiny ring! He slips it on his left ring finger. ]

[ Clearly relieved, Grell glances from the ring to William and back again. And then, relief gives way to mischief... ]

[ For once, William has no qualms complying with Grell's request. He removes the ring a second time, keeping Grell's hand in his own as he kneels down. ]

Grell Sutcliff, will you marry me?

[ Grell hadn't actually expected William to comply so easily; that he'd grumble and protest at being asked to do something so ~ridiculous~ and romantic. Thus this gesture touches him deeply. ]

Yes, William T. Spears. I will marry you.

[ The misery he'd experienced; the grief he remembered - all are fading away. The chaos and madness bound tight in his heart unwind. He is happy. ]

[ William slides the ring back on, giving Grell's hand a small kiss before he stands once more.

He adjusts his glasses, acknowledging Grell's joy with the slightest smile of his own. To think his greatest annoyance could also be his greatest source of comfort and happiness. ]

Now that I am officially stuck with you for eternity, I do not want to hear anymore complaints. Understood?

[ In a bit of a trance, Grell marvels at the ring, holding it up and observing how the stone catches the light. He is in a state of romantic bliss, absolute perfection... ]

[ Grell's fingers reach William's tie; but rather than loosening it, he uses it for leverage, to pull William down into a kiss. ]

[ Grell really didn't even need to pull on William's tie, he was quite willing and ready for that kiss.

He answers it, sliding his tongue along Grell's lower lip, dangerously close to those pointy little teeth of his. But by now, the worry of cutting himself as faded. He knows how to maneuver around Grell's mouth, and even the occasional nicks and slips add more spark and desire to the moment. ]

[ It always surprises Grell, on some level, when William shows enthusiasm. Everything about him projects reserve. He's always been distant, maddeningly out of reach.

Thus the sensation of William's tongue on his lips; William's ring on his finger - it astounds and delights. He shivers, letting go of William's tie and seizing him by the shoulders, pulling closer. ]
