Halloween Masquerade Ball

When: October 27th, 7:00pm till Morning Sirens.
Where: The Newcomer Community Center
Summary: Time for some Halloween Masquerade Fun!
Warnings: Anything is possible!

The Community Center has been transformed into a sophisticated autumn dance hall, with bits of Halloween decorations around the room. When the door opens, you find yourself in the hall before the main room, someone ready to take your coat, if you have one, and another ready to give out bracelets. That way no one who shouldn't be drinking won't be able to.



The dance floor is surrounded by a number of small, round tables, each with an elaborate centerpiece of cobwebs. There are lights within the hanging decorations, with draped fabric over the sides, to give it a more close knit feeling. At the head of all the tables is a bar serving free drinks and cocktails to anyone over age. There is also a buffet



And then, of course, there is the dance floor, where people are dancing to the music supplied by two talented DJs, lights blinking and the room ready for everyone to have a good time.



Last call for food is two hours before sirens, and then the last call for drinks is an hour before the party finishes. You might want to be careful when it gets to be that time, though. Around 1:00 am, the party is going to change, due to a series of unfortunate events. You may not be very hungry or thirsty for awhile after.

[He sighs, lightly, though his chest doesn't feel light at all.] I don't know. Here, help with my rouge. Come, a spot on each cheek. [And, on cue, he produces the rouge from his little coat and holds it out for Ciel.]

I can't do makeup!

Juuust a spot! It's not hard! Even Ahiru could do it.

Fine, fine.

[faking]

[He presses the tube of rouge to Ciel's hand, then.] Don't make gigantic circles. Just cute dots, like you saw.

[littlest_lord]

_{[And he does as he's told, making 'cute dots' as per Alois' direction.]}

There.

Am I all better? Did you get every crumb?

Good as new.

[faking]

And precious? We look precious, right? Did you see us side by side yet?

I look ridiculous.

I think it's sweet. Miss Angelina has good taste. [Miss Angelina............... that's probably the most respectfully Alois has ever spoken of anyone, ever.]

Only sometimes.

[faking]

Come off it, I bet she has excellent advice and you never take it.

Not all the time. I take what is useful, however.

[faking]

Oh, of course, what's useful. Let's go, let's go out of here, I want to start dancing again. [He's taking Ciel's arm, prepared to drag him off if need be.]

_{[And Ciel goes without much vocal protest, although he certainly doesn't want to dance.]}

With whomever. [But he leans against Ciel a little as they walk.] With you.
