Kurt and Blaine were getting married today. Despite the drizzly weather of the week, they had set up an open tent at the beach. The off and on again rain of that week meant that the waves of the sea were higher, more intense than normal. That set an interesting backdrop to their ceremony.

Luckily, the weather today was better than it had been all week and though it was still a little bit on the gloomy side you'd never know it from the two grooms and the pure joy on their faces.

[Blaine can't quite stay still. He's filled with energy that he can't contain. He's so grateful that he and Kurt are planning on singing, because he wouldn't be able to contain himself through a serious ceremony without that outlet.]

How do I look? [He asks Tim for the 500th time that day.]

[This was really cute. No, really, the whole thing is great, and Tim can't help but compare Blaine to Dick right now, but Tim reached out and put a hand on his friend's arm.]

You look great. Don't worry, your hair is perfect, the clothes look good. [A pause.] You do look like you're going to jump out of your skin, though.

Is it bad that I just want to do this already? I should be savoring every moment, but I just want him to be my husband.

No, I don't think that's bad. That's what every soon-to-be husband should feel like. [He smiles.] I think it would be more worrisome if you didn't feel that way.

Just take a deep breath, and try to savor the moment.

[Blaine nods and takes a deep breath.]

Thank you Tim.

It's what I'm here for, right? That, and making sure you don't get any stains on your shirt before getting down that aisle. I think Kurt might kill me if that happened. Like, really killed me, that's something to have nightmares about.

[He laughs a bit, thankful for a joke to break the tension.]

Oh man, let's hope there's not.

[He looks down at his clothes to check them out.]

No, no, don't worry, you don't have anything on your clothes. [He comes over, brushing off his shoulders.]

You look great, and Kurt will obviously look great. You guys are probably the best dressed couple out of everyone in the port.

[He grins at that]

I don't know. You're looking pretty sharp yourself.

Oh, this old thing? [He brushed some imaginary lint off of his sleeve.] But see, I'm not part of a couple. I think it's the other person, combined with the first, that makes them the best dressed couple. And even if they're not the best dressed, no one will care, because they look good together anyway.

Oh hush. You look good because you look good.

That and the abs. You never never really hide the abs.

Mr. Anderson, what are you doing flattering someone right before your wedding. [Tim couldn't help but laugh.] Like you don't have abs, you work out just as much as I do.

[His grin turns a little sly.] Besides, there has to be a reason Kurt stays with you, and it can't be the jokes.

[He chuckles] Here I was thinking it was my talent.

Maybe talent is a third of it. [Smirks.] But I'm sure the pie chart, if we made one, might show that it's not the biggest.

We should make a pie chart. Pie charts are good visuals.

I could whip up a pie chart real quick. We have plenty of time for a pie chart, right?

[They definitely do, as he grabs some paper from his bag, along with a pen.]

You can carry this with you to the alter. Visual reminders are great, right?

[Blaine laughs]

That's not very romantic is it?

That's true. [He looks at the paper for a moment before snapping his fingers.]

Got it! We'll put hearts instead of dots for all of the 'i's. That's romantic.

Perfect! I'm glad I have you around.

It's what the best man does, right? Take your mind off of scary things.

[Let him scribble, he needs to add colors, because that is always needed, and there we go.]

Here, you can keep this in your pocket, just in case you get nervous.

[Blaine reads it and laughs. He can't really respond outside of that at first until he moves to pull Tim into a hug.]

Thank you, brother. [He says softly. Because that's exactly what Tim is to him.]

[He stiffened up at first, and it wasn't because of the hug. It was everything after that. Brother. Brother. His brother, which made him his brother. The ache that followed was so recognizable, alone and looking for family. And here he had one, just as good, if not better, then the one he had back home.]

You're welcome. [He needs a moment to cling for a tiny bit longer, so he doesn't look like he might cry. He's not a crier, but his heart felt like it was breaking in the best way possible.]

You're welcome, brother. [He breathes slow.] I know you're about to get married and everything, but I just need you to know that... you're my family. And that means Kurt is my family, too. And the Titans, but it's different with them, as you know. [He moves a little bit away, straightening Blaine's bowtie.]

I know you know, now, but... you're my brother, your're my family, and I love you Blaine, I love you and Kurt so much, so much in fact that any master of evil in some way would see it as a weakness.

I love you too, Tim.

But that doesn't make me weak. Loving you has made me a stronger person. Don't ever doubt that.
