Peaking back into the world
Who: Magneto and to be updated
When: Week of 4-10 through 4-15
Where: Mostly the HoA, a few others
Summary: Mags is talking to people again. A few people want to see him in person
Warnings: Will be updated
Other: Tag in with when you are meeting/where ok?
He'd made appointments with various people. He was going to keep them. But even still, he was looking entirely well. He'd lost a little weight, was tense, and mostly very still. Except his eyes. They never stopped moving.

4/11 10:30am at HoA
He felt like he should bring something, but in the end he just dressed carefully. did his hair with car and got there right on time.
He really can't wait to see the man he knew as Michael.

"You look good. I was worried, when I heard about Chuck..."

"You wouldn't really. Most can't."

"It's okay." He wasn't going to lash out, there were just very few he'd reach out for, but his voice wasn't steady. He wasn't okay, at all, and wouldn't be for some time.

And I wanted to tell you something too."

"Jubilee would have told people if I wasn't." He was still working his way through everything she'd given him a copy of, so he didn't know how hostile some where being to each other.
"Tell me what?"
no subject
"I wanted to make sure that you knew, no matter what, I am always going to be grateful for what you've done for me. You're the reason I'm still here. I will never stop caring about you. I... I just don't know if that helps."

He looked up at Blaine, and there was a little something to his look. Gratitude, a little less fear. "Thank you. That does help." He'd had too many people turn on him - not here, but over the last eight decades, that people staying meant more to him than almost anything else. They could be angry. Just don't walk away.

It had been worse because of the way that Jubilee had acted and the constant repeat of the words 'it's a mutant thing.' It had made Blaine feel like he was going to be an outsider from now on. He hadn't wanted to push though, to make it seem like he was trying to make this horrible situation about him. It was easier to leave and hope that when things calmed down he'd have the weird family he had created for himself again.

Someday Magneto might explain what 'it's a Mutant thing' actually means, and that those who push, who get dirty in the trenches with them, whatever their DNA, are a part of them, and that's all that mattered. At least, if Blaine ever asks.

He looked around, scanning the area, then back at Blaine.
"I need space. When I tell people to back off, or Jubilee does, or my NV is off...I need people to not freak out. I need to be able to pull back from people and get my head on, without my NV ringing all the time. I need people to stop assuming silence equals guilt and that I'm hiding. I'm trying to put my head back together and everyone wants something and I just can't." The words were rushed, stretched thin, and desperate. He did know that yes, people were going to be pissed over him killing Crowley. He needed them to stop assuming he did it for kicks or that he was hiding from answering. Right now he could barely take being around people at all without flipping out.

He hoped that would mostly be the end of it, with Blaine anyway.

"Okay," he said. "I'd want you to listen to them too."

He sank into the chair a but, just a little relieved.
"Have I missed anything with you?"

He wasn't sure but he hadn't been paying attention.
"Having your memories tampered with is horrible."
