[A water bottle is ever so helpfully thrust into his hand, when Roxas breaks off into a coughing fit.] Here, try not to choke on anything, okay?

Promise me you're not going to die?

[Surprised, Roxas fumbles to hold and open the bottle without spilling on himself while trying to wind fend off more coughing.]

I don't— [There's a small wheeze in his voice, and he takes a careful sip of the water.] I'm not going to die.

You can't-

[He winces, although his voice is firm, more like an order than a plea. Joe is just barely holding it together.] You've got to hang on until they find something to fix it.

I will. Hey.

[He curls his fingers into a loose fists and half-bumps it into the air.] The Organization didn't take me out. This won't either.

Well the Organization's a bunch of lame jerks anyway. [He scoffed, ever the braggart.]

This thing...even the doctors don't know how to fight it, besides acting like it's all just some normal cold.

Yeah. [He chuckles, but winces like it hurts before sipping more water.]

It's like it came out of nowhere. I've never felt this bad. Don't usually get sick.

I wonder why it's me who isn't sick so bad- I mean, I'm no more healthy than any of you guys, most of the time....

And Riku's been feeling lousy.

[He frowns, distressed to hear that.]

Be careful. If Riku can get sick with it, so can you.

I haven't gotten sick yet.

[His empathic statement/plea causes another coughing fit, but he waves off any attempt to help.]

I don't want you to get sick too. Enough of us already are.

It doesn't make me feel any better, knowing the rest of you feel lousy enough to end up in the hospital.

I know! I'm just—I'm scared, okay?

[He presses against his pillow, as if he can hide.]

I've never been sick like this. I don't know how to fight it. And if the rest of you get sick, there's nothing I can do about it.

Don't be scared. You're tough. Even if there's no way to take out a keyblade and fight it.
