[Lying in bed is getting Christina nowhere and she's heard that Ahiru's laid up here too, which worries her, so off she goes dragging her IV with her. It takes her a little bit to avoid the nurses and actually track down her room, but here she is.] Hi. Word on the street was you got admitted here. I wanted to make sure you were okay.

[motioned]

[She actually does seem a little brighter as Christina enters the room, sitting forward with a degree of ease. Her smile does fade a bit as she notices the IV stand, of course.]

I'll be fine, I promise. [Even though she looks and sounds like hell.]

[worldhaditsway]

Yeah, me too. Or so the doctors keep telling me. [She drags the stand over and pulls up a chair.] Have you been paying attention to the network at all?

[motioned]

Really? Oh, I'm really— [She stops to cough.]

Really glad. And yeah, I have, but I've been sleeping a lot more, so I've probably missed a lot... [Another pause, and her voice quiets.]

Have you been keeping track of how many people have died?

[worldhaditsway]

[She shakes her head.] No. I didn't want... [...To know.

She starts coughing, herself, which keeps her from admitting her cowardice.] But Crowley thinks he knows what's causing this. We're all guilty about something, so it's making us sick. [And it's stupid, but, well, when was the last time Crowley was wrong about something?]

[motioned]

[She shakes her head, swallowing thickly.]

Maybe for some people, but it can't all be guilt. I mean, there's nothing I'd feel guilty about, so...

[worldhaditsway]

Yeah, that's what's throwing me off. I can understand me catching it, but you're... [So completely and utterly pure that it's ridiculous?] ..Maybe that's just how it started.

[motioned]

[Suddenly, concern.]

But you don't have anything to be guilty about either! And a bunch of my other friends who are sick, too.

[And then some more coughing.]

[worldhaditsway]

I mean, I kinda do... You may have gotten me through that rough patch, but it's not an instant thing. I've forgiven myself for what I accidentally did to the city and realized I don't have to be that person, but...

[motioned]

[She sits up, biting her lip.]

But what?

[worldhaditsway]

I still kinda destroyed an entire town with my brain back home. [/Guilty expression, which is promptly followed by a gasping wet cough.]

[motioned]

But it wasn't your fault!

[worldhaditsway]

[She cringes.] That wasn't just my powers acting up without me doing anything, Ahiru. Not like here. That was... all me. I wanted that to happen.

[motioned]

[It's always easy for her to make excuses for other people; much moreso than for herself. So she shakes her head, looking towards Christina with concern.]

But only because everyone was horrible to you, right?

[worldhaditsway]

I don't know if that's a good enough excuse to destroy a town and not feel bad about it. [She kneads her forehead with the palm of her hand.] But I do feel bad. Now. Where no one there can actually hear me say it. [And they'd likely kill her as soon as look at her, let's be real. It's easy to be guilty when you don't have to face the consequences.

Except being this sick is definitely a consequence.]

[motioned]

It's not your fault they can't hear you, either. I think the most important thing you can do is try and forgive yourself, you know?

[worldhaditsway]

Maybe that's the cure and Crowley is right. Do you think it could really be that easy?

[motioned]

Well, I don't think forgiving yourself seems all that easy for most people.

[She pauses, tilting her head thoughtfully.]

But I think it's more important than just getting over a sickness. too.
