[She smiles, nodding in turn, and moves back to the paper.]

im sure well be fine but dont foget what i said

[He rubs at his eyes with the clean sleeve and shakes his head. No, he won't forget. He then reaches for her hand to squeeze it reassuringly and bows his head once more.]

[motioned]

[She squeezes his hand in return.]

youl be okay too. and oz and evryon. im sure ill be out in a few days

I'll pick you up when you're better and take you home no matter wha

[He drops the pen so that he can cover his mouth to cough.]

[motioned]

[She leans forward, concerned, but winces at the pain that simple motion causes, taking a deep breath as her head swims.]

[When he finally recovers, he scribbles a quick:]

Get some sleep. I'll see you soon.

[And then attempts to stand up without falling right back down.]

[motioned]

[She nods with a smile, clearing her throat.]

I'll definitely come home no matter what. I wouldn't let something like a flu stop me!

[retraced]

[He smiles weakly and gives her an even weaker nod. If only he could feel that same sort of happy optimism. His stubbornness will just have to suffice.]

[motioned]

[She tries to lift a hand to wave, but it only stays a few seconds before she moves it back down to the bed.]

[He picks up his paper and pen and tries to wave in return before starting for the door. He's still a little unsteady on his feet, but he refuses to pass out in front of her. He'll wait until he's in the cab for that.]
