You can feel sad she's gone. You can get angry, and miss her. You can sneeze on me and kick me out of the room, and even sleep as long as you want.

[And as if to solidify his Other's resolve, Sora holds up a pinky. This is a pretty serious thing, okay? So Roxas has to take seriously too.]

But you can't disappear.

[Roxas looks at the offered pinky for a long moment, as if hypnotized, before lifting a hand and hooking his own pinky through it.]

[Sora seems at least a little mollified at the gesture. His whole body seems to visibly give off relief, like one big inward sigh. And with one dip of their linked hands, they finish the pact, the promise. One that Sora hopes extends past just this sickness. He wants Roxas to be around for a long time. So they can fight and hang out and break down that wall for just as long.]

[Roxas feels so full of so many things now—grief, anger, and now something he can't put a name to. Never mind the fact that he shouldn't be feeling any of this at all.

Slowly, he draws his hand back.

And sneezes in Sora's face.]

[Sora groans, bringing the back of his hand across his face.]

When I said you could sneeze on me, I didn't actually mean I wanted you to do it. Bleugh...

[He rubs his nose with the back of his hand, not that it helps now.]

It wasn't on purpose. I don't get a lot of warning for those.

At least you're not sick. You don't have to worry about them as much.

[He sounds calmer, quieter, if not exactly happy. Namine's still gone. But he isn't. And won't be.]

Just focus about getting better. That way, the both of us won't have to worry about it.

[He hesitates.]

Do you think...the Core will pull her back again?

I don't know. I mean... if it brought her here once, right?

[Though Sora has a lingering fear that it's different for nobodies. He doesn't want to imagine that this is it. Just one chance.]

[He doesn't want to put it into words, but he's sure they have the same fear.]

[For Roxas' sake, he nods. And it's a little scary to be admitting it out loud, even if technically he already did. He made Roxas promise over it too.]

Right. We'll both be waiting for her.

And I can keep an eye out for her and call you if she shows up. [He is a greeter after all.]
