[Mostly, her attentions are traced on Ven Roxas, evaluating his reaction time, monitoring his facial expressions ... but she glances to Terra when he leans in for a hair ruffle.

One glance, followed shortly by a second glance that lingers when her friend turns pallid. She doesn't have the wherewithal to hide her alarm and her eyes widen a little, peaceable smile waning slowly.

But he recovers like a champ, apparently.]

That's right ... He'll be better in no time, don't you think?

[... And ... she rises from her place at the foot of the bed, standing by Terra and lightly touches his arm.]

... Here, let's switch places.

[Roxas feels too languid to tense up when Terra goes in for the hair ruffle, but it's okay, because it turns out he doesn't need to—it's a very gentle touch, and doesn't do anything to exacerbate the headache that's always present to some degree.

But then for a moment it looks like Terra's the one who's sick and needs to lie down, not him, and Roxas is only mostly sure that it wasn't a hallucination after the moment passes.]

Ahiru's been sharing with me.

[He speaks quickly, trying not to show the sudden worry that is maybe unnecessary now, even though Aqua seems a little disturbed too.]

It's nice to have a friend around...less lonely. I think they took her off for some tests though. [He doesn't really know, he was either asleep or too fuzzy in the head to recall.] It's nice to have people come around too. Everything back home seems really far away.

[Terra offers little resistance to Aqua's suggestion this time: he sits down at the far end of the bed. He avoids looking at Roxas for a minute, but when he finally risks a glance, it is just Roxas in a hospital bed and everything's fine. He's fine.]

I bet he will be. He's a tough kid, Aqua.

[Just fine.]

But you know that already, after that sparring match you two had.

[Fine fine fine.]

Yep, you've got to be tough to wield two Keyblades.

[This visit might not have been the best idea.

Who knows if he even heard the comment about poor Ahiru being sick, too.]

[Silently thanking the powers that be for Terra's cooperation, she moves to fluff up the flowers nervously after hearing a bit of incongruous babble --

-- ... Or ... Was it incongruous babble at all?

Turning around to face him -- he's ... not looking so good -- she's compelled to wonder whether Roxas mentioned the sparring match. Because she definitely didn't.

She's staring at Terra rather blatantly, but she tries to steer the conversation back into coherency. Aqua's not feeling too hot, sure, but ... it seems like her friend here is about to topple right over.]

It's always nice to have a friend around to keep you company. The two of you will probably get well around the same time, too. Terra.

[As she passes the foot of the bed where he sits, she lowers herself to make eye contact. Or ... attempt to, at least.]

Do you need anything?

[Like a doctor?]

Oh yeah...that was a while ago.

[Long enough that he has to search his memory for the details...though maybe it's just the sickness making everything blurry.]

Guess we both learned something from it.

[But Terra must already know that, if Aqua mentioned it to him. Because Roxas definitely didn't.

He shifts his feet out of the way when Terra sits, though that's probably not necessary. There's some extra space at the end of the long bed.]

I hope we do. I'm tired of being here. And I'm tired of Jell-O.

[Terra lifts his head some, not quite meeting Aqua's eyes but certainly paying attention to her. Or, well, paying attention to the proximity of her face to his own. He leans forward slightly, toward her... and then glances back at Roxas, an eyebrow raised. Still, he makes a small gesture with his hand, a quick wave to answer Aqua's question and hopefully dismiss her concern. He's fine. What could he possibly need?]

Jell-O? [Gelatin? That way too sugary goo food?] Is that all they give you to eat?

[Because if so, that's criminal.]
